Washington D.C.

Awesome News! Track 3, 8th Grade is going to Washingto D.C. on a field trip! We will be spending about 3 days and 2 nights there. It's gonna be awesome. The rest of the 8th grade is going to the Outer Banks of North Carolina instead. I have a beach house there so I'm glad I get to go to Washington, even if I did go there last year. Saturday is Zito's b-day party. Not sure who else is coming...

TK, where have you been this week? I bet you didn't know about the trip!

ATTENTION ALL READERS! Check out this new advertisement I created. Copy it and put it everywhere you can think of. Some suggestions are: the background on your desktop at school or work, your own websites, or anywhere at all really. Be creative!

Down with Barney!

I'm starting a campaign. Join me and we will take down the sinister dictator Barney! I mean he's purple for crying out loud! And have you even seen his toenails? Disgusting!

If you support my campaign (and you better) then place this picture where every many people will see it (such as the background on your computer at school). With your assistance, we can make our voices be heard and get rid of Barnie once and for all!

Note: (directed at guy in the Barnie costume) I don't mean to offend anyone, I was just bored and then I remembered how much I dislike Barnie.

African Live Animal Cam

This is something really cool that I found a few years back. Some people hooked up a webcam with nightvision near a water hole in Africa. There are many extroardinary animals that show up around the early afternoon (our time). At about 4 o'clock or so (our time), the camera switches to nightvision and everything goes black and white so try to watch it in the morning if possible.

http://www.wavelit.com/?ch=Wildlife&sh=africam

Once again, it's sort of boring to watch at night. You do hear some interesting sounds though.

Blogger Play

This thing is really cool. Anytime someone uploads a picture to blogger, it shows up here in slideshow format. It's a really neat thing to do when you're bored enough to stare at random pictures and hope something interesting shows up.

Factorizer

After seeing this cool feature in use in TK's blog, I decided to use it myself. Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and you will see the factorizer as well as the Bush countdown clock and a newsreel. Enjoy.

Party of Awesomeness!

My birthday was on May 25 and I have not had my birthday party yet because the basement was under construction. But now, the basement is done, the TV is coming over Labor Day weekend, the pool table is here, and the awesomeness level has been set on permanent high! My party will be on September 7 and the guest list (*cough* timekeeper) includes:
Me
My Brother
Perrywaffe
Bobert Casio
Anwaar
and Timkeeper!
We're gonna have lots of fun and bring videogames if you can. For those of you who haven't been invited but read this post anyway, "maybe next year" is the only positive advice I can give without completely lying. Peace!

Basement Update

The basement project is finally coming to an end. It has been completed for a week as far as construction goes. Now we have installed a CD rack and put in some couches. The pool table will arrive on the 14th but we don't know when we will buy the TV. All I can say is that the basement is awsome and my longly awaited party is in the new future.

A Crazy Night

Just a few minutes ago, I heard a startling crash. I had been reading the seventh Harry Potter book when it hppened. I quickly ran into my brother's room [fearingthe worst] and found his room covered in glass. Seconds later I was joined by my dad and then my mom. Aparently, a glass-framed picture of a snow seal had fallen onto his head. My brother had a scrape on his leg and that was it. As it turns out, it was my mom who decided that the picture did not have to be nailed to the wall. My brother is fine though, just a little shooken up. All in all, just another crazy night.

Notes From My DS

Yesterday, I bought a Nintendo DS Internet Browser. It's really cool and I can visit any website. However, memory is limited and nothing at all can be downloaded. That also means that I cannot view anything that requires a certain software. You can do many things however: email, blog, surf the web, etc. Now I can do anything from anywhere!

Nazca Lines

Yesterday I finished Anthony Horowitz's book Evil Star and it mentioned something called the Nazca Lines. They are located in the Nazca Desert in Peru. At first I thought Horowitz was making it up, but then I saw these pictures and I realized they were real. They were created in by the ancient Inca people. What's strange is that these lines are giant in scale and can only be viewed from the air. The Incas had no means to view this from the air and, some of the lines are perfectly straight. No one understands how these lines were made so perfectly, or why they were made at all. Also, some of the animals are deformed, such as the monkey who has four fingers on one hand. To ancient civilizations, natural deformity was a horrible thing and meant evil to them. No one understands why they would perposely deform this animals, but many believe they are warning us about something. If you want more info, do some research and/or read EVIL STAR by ANTHONY HOROWITZ.

Today

Today was an adventurous day filled with adventure. My Social Studies partner (Robert) has been sick all week and our presentation was due Monday. If he doesn't come back soon, I'll have to talk to myself for the presentation. The Auto Club started up again today. We have several new members and we're more likely to do cool stuff this year. For info go to the MOR link. Well, Jason opened up a lemonade stand with his neighbor, and we're working for him. We sell brownies, cookies, fresh lemonade, and whatever else is homemade that people want to buy. Even Bill (the guy building our basement) stopped by for a glass. We split the profits and usually earn about $3 each (there are five of us) for working two hours. We give five dollars daily to Jason's mom for the baking ingredients. Today, the stand fell over, the brownies were brutally murdered by glass, and we owed Jason's mom an additional $10 for the glass tray. So, we only got $0.25 each.
Just a few minutes ago, we were digging out a section of the basement that was neglected by the workers. I was sweating like a sink faucet just by standing in there. When we were finishing up, I saw what I thought to be a cockroach, running around in the shadows. It hopped a little while it ran so, I used a flashlight to see what it was. Guess what, it was the cutest mouse in the world. Even my mom said so. It was grey, about the size of my thumb, and not long at all. That was my day.

P.S. The basement will be done anytime now, so the party will come soon.

Something Horrible

Something horrible has just happened. An airplane from TAM (the largest Brazilian airline) has just crashed into a TAM building and burst into flames. Brazil is my native country, so this is really tragic to me. It happened at Sao Paulo International Airport (I'm from Sao Paulo). This is horrible and Anwaar will probably be saying the same thing tomorrow at school. Well if you want to know what happened, click on one of the links below.

The American side of the story

The Brazilian side of the story

Bus Rant (for real this time)

Last year we had a horrible bus driver who was always doing stupid things. We all hated her. This year, we had a bigger bus with a nicer driver. Yesterday, we found out that she was a sub and we actually have the same bus and driver. Well today, it was a normal day as usual but as soon as we got to our stop, the engine dyed and the bus stopped moving. We could see our house and the doors were all working, but the bus driver wouldn't let us off. Then she called for a mechanic and we had to wait. Half an hour later, the mechanic shows up, messes with some wires, and the engine lives! Then she yells for us to sit down. She moves the bus half an inch forward, then she stops and tells us to get off. STUPIDEST THING EVER! We were already at the stop, and the doors were all working. But for an unexplained and stupid reason, we had to wait half an hour in that yellow furnace so that the bus could be repaired and we could drive HALF AN INCH!

A Weird Dream

We've all had weird or strange dreams, right? Well if anyone cares to read it, I'd like to tell you all about my weird dream. It all started with some kind of school reunion/ party that everyone was going to. It was at one of those party places that you just rent out. We all got in lines infront of the cash register and we were separated into groups of two. I got stuck with Jason Li. Some students who volunteered came around and gave every group a tray. Then they gave an individual pizza to every group. Then another set of volunteers came and gave us a second pizza. The first group came back, took back the second pizza, and said that it was one pizza per group. The same argument was happening about the individual salads. And this argument continued throughout the line. When we finally got to the register, we had one pizza and one salad. Jason bought two chocolate milks and the volunteers brought us another pizza. "What's weird about this?" is what you're probably thinking right now. Well, we're getting there. So Jason and I sit down on a sofa in one of those mini kitchens. Jason tries to heat his pizza in an oven and for some reason, shocks himself severely. Then he covers the salad with olive oil and cottage cheese (bleh!). Well, he makes a big mess and while he's enjoying it, the oven shocks itself and ignites the olive oil. This for some reason, his back caught on fire. I pour more olive oil (the only liquid around) on him and the flames get bigger. I run over and tell my old Social Studies teacher Ms. K. D. House (who in my dream is called Ms. Balk) that Jason just inexplicably burst into flames. Jason looks at me with a disgusted look, as if the whole thing was my fault! Well he was never really my friend. Then as soon as I got that look, I woke up. This dream is not really as much weird as it was vivid. But it was weird in a way. I mean WHAT DID THAT HAVE TO DO WITH ANYTHING!? If you actually read through the whole thing, then I thank you.

Party at Jason's

Yesterday my bro and I decided to go to Frankie's (the place with the go-karts). We decided to invite Jason to come with us. When we got to his house, we discovered that it was his birthday! So, we went to Frankie's with Jason and Daniel (Jason's friend). We had and awesome time and then we slept over. We saw a crappy movie that was about some guy (played by Tom Cruise) who worked at a place where they could predict crimes, but then it says he will commit one. I know it sounds good, but it actually sucks. It's not even worth remembering the name. So it ended at around 2 o'clock. We pranked Jason's older sister by using his label maker. We made a label that said "kick me," "drunk," and "pranked". Then we got a bottle of root beer and labeled it as "beer". We put the labels on her face and the bottle touching her mouth. When she woke up, she was really pissed. Then we had waffles (real not frozen). We hadn't slept at all during the night (not even a second). We went to sleep after breakfast. We slept for about two hours but when I woke up, A.J. (Jason's next door neighbor) was there. He had put ranch dressing on our arms while we were sleeping. I'm not sure why he did it, but Jason's mom was furious. Then we left at about 10 o'clock and went back to sleep. We woke up at 4:00 and had some more breakfast. At 6:00 we had lunch and we just finished having dinner. That was some party.

My CyberTwin

You may have noticed the new My CyberTwin feature in my blog. It's a computer program that talks back to you as it thinks I would. Be aware that it is not actually me talking, it may say things that do not represent how I feel, and it has not been perfected so therefore, some of the answers may not make sense. I know this because I have tryed it out on someone else's blog. I guess it's sort of pointless but, it's neat! However if you do talk with my CyberTwin, I will be able to view the entire conversation and therefore, it will be almost as though you are talking directly to me.

Stuff

I haven't blogged in a VERY long time because nothing has happened. But yesterday, something did. My brother and I were riding our bikes right before the thunderstorm was expected. We were planning to head back when the rain started. Unfortunately, the lightning came first. We began our journey home when suddenly, the rain started. With rain drops the size of golf balls, it hurt like BB's. Anyway, we barely made it home and we were soaked down to the bone. It was fun!

Troggie on GH 2

Yesterday I went to a friends house for their college graduation party. We played Guiter Hero 2 and guess what, it had Trogdor on it. It said "Trogdor as performed by Strongbad". It was exactly the same as on the internet. It was awesome. If you click on "Troggie on GH 2" it will take you take you to the video. The one on the game even had all the parts where it just stops and Strongbad talks. But the song ended when Strongbad said "and then Trogdor comes in the NIGHT!!!!!!" I played it really good and I'm sure Troggy would be proud. I'm considering buying that game and console just so I can play Trogdor!

This is my 50th post! Today at school, Zito was being really pissed off and angry. I told him to get a blog so he can talk about it. He's considering it. Today after school when we got off the bus, Jason left his saxophone on the bus. He didn't even notive and I said "dude, your saxophone's on the bus". Then he panicked and ran back onto the bus! And at the band concert tonight, four of us had to share the same music because myself and two others forgot our music at home. Then Jason took off his neck-band because he was hot. Then he lost it. LOL When everyone left, I stayed to help him look for it and found a trumpet mute that someone had lost. It was claimed in a few seconds. All in all, a great day.

Time

Ok... I just noticed that I'm writing this post at 7:19, but when I publish it to my blog, it says 6:19. What gives! If anyone knows how to fix the blog time thing tell me. That means that on the "I was on TV" post, it says written at 5:56, but it was clearly written at 6:56 because I said "it was on at six and will be on again at eleven. And no, my computer clock and area time are correct. It is currently 7:19.

OK

So we're probably going to be OK with our vacation because they're doing some lame options thing. If you don't want to go to year-round, they'll send you to some crappy traditional school. Unfortunately, there aren't enough traditional schools and they're trying to make up some crazy schemes and the world as we know it is coming to an end! I guess we just have to wait and see.

Saturday, May 5, 2007

I was on TV

It was on at 6 and then it will be on again at 11. It's awesome! They didn't let us say anything, but we got to be on TV! And that lady that comes on afterwards, it's her falt! I don't blame her though, she had a good reason. But she could have done it 5 MONTHS EARLIER!!!

On TV

Today, my dad and my bro and I, are going to the news station to get interviewed on this. I'll tell you guys if it's gonna be on TV.

School Rant

First they decide to make us have mandatory year round schools, then they decide to cancel it 2 MONTHS BEFORE IT COMES INTO EFFECT! That just sucks! We had to re-schedule our fort-yearly vacation to Brazil. Then we found out that we were going to stay on the traditional calendar and we had to cancel it. Now I'm going to miss the birth of my cousin's son, my grandpa's 69th birthday, and an overall great vacation and family reunion. Since we're staying on the traditional calendar, we won't be able to go for another year and that is the worst thing that's ever happened to me. This sucks.

I don't have a problem with staying on the traditional calendar, or switching to year round. I just hate it when people change their minds right before something happens. Especially when it ruins the one thing I care for more than anything else.

It's not settled yet, but I'm pretty sure that we're staying on traditional.

Click on "School Rant" to view the petition that made my nightmare possible. THANKS A LOT SAVE OUR SUMMERS-WAKE COUNTY

I WISH YOU AN ETERNITY OF UNMERCELESS SUFFERING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stuff

Hey Anonymous, it smells like gasoline because of the fumes, not the actual stuff. Also, they used 3 entire cement trucks to make our basement. That's A LOT of concrete. My dad says that our house is immobile and the foundation will never budge. Anyway, it's drying right now and tomorrow I will take a picture of the completed foundation.

Basement 11

Click on "Basement 11" to see the pictures of the basement project possibly (if I get around to it), some other things. Today the guys came and started messing around with stuff in the basement. Then, an orange pumping truck came. Then a cement truck. They started to pump cement into the basement. The hoses that they used started to leak (LOL)! Eventually, some air bubbles got into the hose and (see above picture). This guy got covered in cement! It looked like it hurt, but everyone was laughing (even him). The comcrete should be dry by saturday and then they can start building the walls. The whole house smells like gasoline because they brought in a machine to smooth out the concrete. Anyway, it's looking great! XD!

I found out that today is National Emo Day! Also, a very happy birthday to Landon, the 10 (now 11) year old 6th grader in 7th grade math. I guess that's it. Bye...

Teen Court: first official meeting

Today was the first official meeting I went to. It's at the court house. For some reason, the bailiffs always say "oh yes, oh yes, oh yes" before every case begins. Weird huh? Well, these are real people who have committed real crimes and we give them real sentences that they have to really do. If you want me to tell you what the cases were about, I can't. They made us swear secrecy and if you weren't there, I can't discuss anything with you. :(

Super Special Awesome Day

Today I presented my SS project on the Komodo Dragon. We had a field trip to Kabuki. And we finally turned in our Anthologies for LA. When we got back from Kabuki, I talked to my friends and missed the first half of gym. I just told the coach that I just got back from the trip and he let me in scotch free. LOL. Now I'm going to the official meetings of Teen Court. There's one today and it goes from 6-8:30.

Bus Rant 2

Yesterday we rode bus # 704. Today we had bus # 709. It had a turquoise ceiling like the one from yesterday. It also had no escape hatches just like yesterday. One of the seats on the bus was torn open and I saw that the inside of the seat was made of wood instead of metal. It doesn't seem safe at all. When we left the school, there was a car wreck. The front-right wheel was practically ripped off. There was another row on it so it wasn't that cramped, but it was still small.

Basement 10

Yesterday the plumber came back and cut off our water. Today the air conditioner guy came and he's going to move an air vent in our living room.

Hey Anonymous

Tyasia is the name of my friend's girlfriend. Also, are you someone I know, or are you a random person. Both of those answers are cool so, answer truthfully please. Answer in a comment.

Bus Rant

Normally my bus is way too small and has 3 to a seat. Also, every other day everyone shows up and about 10 people have to sit in the aisle. Today we had a different bus and, for some reason, it was half the size of our bus. We had to sit like 4 to a seat and about five people sat in the aisle. It was one of those crappy busses with the brown seats and an engine that died every time the bus stopped. Also, the bus driver stopped for about an hour and waited for everyone to sit in a seat but duhhhhh, THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH SEATS AND THIS BUS IS TO SMALL!!!! And these 6th graders, they were talking about how the bus would be emptier next year since it will be year-round. What they don't realize, is that we will be switching to year-round for the soul purpose of there being more students at our school! This bites. At least in high school the capacity doesn't allow more than 2 per seat.

My Quote

I've been living my life by a quote that I'm pretty sure that I created. I think I should share it with you since it has a really good point. Here it is:

“Everything you see, hear, learn, or do, is preparing you for the day when you’ll need all of it.”

-Dr.Vini42

It's not really a special meaning like the one in my previous post. But if you take it literally, you'll find I have a point.

Next

I just saw the movie NEXT and it was awesome! It's about this guy who can see 2 minutes into the future but only in his personal life. It's very violent and actiony. And there are like five major twists in the plot. They all make sense if you think about them... Anyway, there's a really good and shocking ending, but then there's a twist and the movie ends up having a stupid ending! >:( Oh well, there was this really good quote that was said two or three times in the movie. If you think about it and/or watch the movie, it makes sense. Here it is:

“If you look at the future, it changes, because you looked at it. And that changes everything else.”

-Chris Johnson (Nicholas Cage)

Teen Court: training

Today I went to Teen Court. It was awesome. It's a real court system where students of any age can run a real court and judge real criminals our ages. You get to be an attorney on either the prosecuting or defending side of each case. It's fun and you get like all you can eat snacks and pizza. Timekeeper was going to come, but for some reason he thought I wasn't going to be there so, he canceled. Sucks for him because now, he has to do the training if he changes his mind. I'm going to the official meetings now.

Basement 9

Today the guys came back. They brought a little tractor and dumped a couple tons of rock on the street. They comepletely destroyed our backyard. There isn't a single inch of grass left. They are moving the rock, bit by bit, into the basement. In a few days, a cement truck will come to concrete the ground up. It's a real mess!

Today

Today during gym, Sappy was bothering a bird that made it's nest in the middle of the football field. Everyone was yelling for him to stop (just like yesterday). He wouldn't, so Eric A. went up to Sappy and told him he was going to pants him. Sappy didn't believe him so, Eric pantsed him. LOL.

Pokemon Diamond

Today my bro did something extra at school and didn't get home until now. This way, I got to play for 2 & 1/2 hours. And Timekeeper if you're reading this, I need to know where and how to get a bike. General Perrywaffe if you're reading this, Overlord Gir is pleased with both of us thanks to that e-mail.

Correction

The Blue Angels crash happened in Beaufort, South Carolina. So, it's actually farther from me than I thought. Sorry. Anyway, today I got Pokemon Diamond version. It's awesome but since I don't have a DS, I have to use my bro's and will therefore, have limited time to play.

At the Beach

I'm here at the beach. We're getting a game room added onto the house. The ocean water was too cold to swim in, but we got to walk in it a bit. While my dad was cutting some wood, it fell off the bench thing that was holding it up. My dad told my to hold the bench thing while he put it back on. He pushed on it too hard and the bench thing fell on my foot! X( At first I thought my foot was broken. Then I saw that my toenail was purple and my toes weren't broken. I'm not really sure what's going to happen but, I think it might fall off. :( Right now, I just finished my "home fun" (homework in the words of Mr. Shabazz) a poet that visited our school). Now, I found out that the pilot of The Blue Angels FA-18 #6 just died in Beaufort. That's just an hour or so from our beach house! It really stinks because The Blue Angels are awesome. Oh well.

Basement 8

The guys finally came back. They were supposed to have come last week, but Bill (the contractor) was on his honeymoon. Today they came and destroyed our backyard. When I got home from school (MOR was cancelled), the garage door appeared to be broken (I go in through there). I went around back to talk to the guy and he said they disabled it so no one would steal anything if they had to open it. He fixed it, but the door on the inside was locked. I called my mom on the guy's cellphone, but she wouldn't be home for another half hour. I started reading a book but then the plumber arrived. I followed him down to watch. They had removed our house's plumbing. Basicly, we can't use any toilets or water. They tore down a wall and came in with a little tractor to start digging. They then started breaking a hole in a wall for a pipe to go through. When my mom got home, she told me that I was going to get a house key (finally!). Right now it's 9:40, and we still can't use the water.

Worst School Shooting Ever

Yesterday was the occurrence of the worst school shooting in US history. There were 33 casualties (including the gunner himself) and the gunman was a resident of the campus dormitories. No one is quite sure how he managed to kill so many people and himself before any police or security arrived to do something about it. The worst part is that so far, a motivation for this has not been found (basically, the guy had no good reason). Also, this was at Virginia Tech University which is actually not that far from my school. Maybe a 2-4 hour drive. He killed the students and staff that were trying to help other victims. Really sad 8(

ATHF Party

My mom didn't let me watch the ATHF Movie. Oh well. I still got to play 5 hours of Online HALO 2 until my brain rotted at 3:30 am. Then we went bowling. Timekeeper played stacker about fifty times. One time, he made it to the last row and was as close as ever to winning a USB memory storing watch.

P.S. I accept Timekeeper's challenge to compete in the Blogathon. What do I have to do?

Update

There is an update to the blog. If you scroll down to the bottom of this screen, you will see that there is a countdown letting us know how much longer we will have to bare the tyranny of our leader. LOL! So yes, I'm a Democrat.

Sick at School

Today I was sick at school. I wasn't sick when I left at home. When I finished my quiz in first block (math), I started feeling nauseous. Almost as if I was carsick. Jackson (the kid next to me) kept bugging me about the way I was acting so I let him know that I was not feeling good. The teacher sent me to Student Services. I called my mom's cell phone but she didn't answer so, I left a message. I proceeded on to second block (social studies) which was being held in the media center computer lab. I immediately began feeling severely nauseous upon entrance. I panicked but tried to wait it out like in the morning. When it got worse I told the teacher I was going to be sick and I ran out of the room. I instinctively headed towards the restroom. There were several eighth graders walking around and in the restroom. I ran in and vomited all over the entrance. The eight graders started yelling while I continued to puke. They called Mr. Birch (staff member) and he sent me to Student Services. I called my mom's cell phone again but she didn't answer. I called home but that call was not answered either. I finally asked the staff member in the room to look up my dad's cell phone number because I had forgotten it. She found that and his work number. I dialed his cell phone number and he answered. I told him that I just threw up and I wanted to go home. He told me he'd be right over. I gathered my things and went into the front office to wait for him. By now my shoe began stinking of shoe barf. When my dad arrived we went home. He told me that as he was leaving to come get me, my mom called and told him that she got my message and she was coming over. I got home and tried to sleep but I wasn't tired enough. I had a very light lunch and now I feel better. I guess I could have stayed at school but, county policy states that if a child gets sick, he/she must be removed from campus for the next 24 hours. Of course no one takes the '24 hours' part seriously. I did have to leave for the rest of the day. I didn't do anything that would upset my stomach but if it's a bug, why did it pass so quickly? Oh well, I feel good now.

Mouse in School

Today was the first day back at school and it stunk. I found the hoodie I lost before break. I also found a mouse. It was dead because it had been run over by the bleachers in the gym. They are on wheels and move very quickly. The poor mouse didn't see it coming. It wasn't bleeding or anything so, I picked it up by the tail. It wasn't gross or anything, it reminded me of my former pet hamster. I showed it to Coach Kingston and he started freaking out. He acted as though I was infected by the black plague! He told me to put it on his notebook then he sent me to wash my hands. As I was heading towards the restroom, I heard loud screams as he passed the girl's locker room.

Spring Break Day 9 (Last Day)

Today we had an Easter party. There were about eleven people our age. The worst of them was this guy named Phillip (pronounced "feeleepee"). No one likes him but he always comes because his mom is cool. Our room is really messy and anything and everything that can be taken apart is completely destroyed. This nicer kid sat on my bro's video gaming chair and started leaning backwards. Eventually the chair gave out under his weight and the back rest broke in half. This Easter sucked and the Easter Bunny is trying to kill me. He came really close this time with his poisonous marshmallow bunnies. I knew he was comming because whenever I go to the mall, his hitman just keeps staring at me with those huge, unblinking, eyes. There's school tomorrow AND THAT STINKS!!!!!

Spring Break Day 8

Today my bro went to an easter egg hunt at the local YMCA. The age limit was 5th grade (not that I wanted to go). Now I'm at home with my mom and my dad who just got back from Istanbul, Turkey. It was a kind of long business trip.

Spring Break Day 7 & Basement 7

No one came today but we noticed some orange lines drawn on the grass. Not sure what they represent. The guys are gonna be back next week no matter what.

Basement 6

Today some people came over in a pickup truck and left after a while. I think they just looked around. Not sure though.

Spring Break Day 6

Yesterday around 11 0'clock pm, the light started flickering in my room. I thought the light bulb was burning out so I waited. When it went out, so did the rest of the house. I struggled to find my door in the pitch black. My bro and I went to our mom's room. We stayed there for a while with a few flashlights. Finally we decided to go to bed. My mom said that she woke up at 1 am when the power came on because the fan in her room was switched on. The whole area as far as we could see was blacked out for those 2 hours.

Spring Break Day 5 & Basement 5

These windows weren't here yesterday in the morning. The guys didn't come today but soon they are going to shut off our water to do the plumbing. I hope we don't have to go to the bathroom during that.LOL!

Basement 4 and Other Things

The guys left our basement after working all day. They built in several windows and it's finally bright enough to see in the basement. They also cut two door holes. When they left, we found that they discovered an arrow (from my bro's bow and arrow kit) that he had lost.
A few minutes ago there were these bright flashes in the sky. At first we thought they were lightning, but there was no thunder and they were not quite bright enough. We decided that they might be camera flashes, but we found no people and there were too many of them.
After that, we saw a UFO. It was definitely not an airplane! It was bright enough to see that it was a triangle. There were lights on it that were flashing like on a squad car. Instead of having a red light on each wing and a white light on the nose, it had a white light on one wing and a red light on the other. It also had a red light on the nose. I didn't get a picture but I did have two witnesses with me.
The wind kept changing direction every few seconds and the sky was very cloudy. It's perfect for a storm.

Basement 3

It tripped yet again. I asked him what was happening and he said that there was only one power socket down there. They are designed to handle one device at a time. These guys plugged in two electric saws and an air compressor on that single socket. I decided to leave the garage open because this could be happening several more times.

Basement 2

The power tripped again. This is getting really annoying. It's weird because only the internet and phone are affected. I didn't even think they would be messing with the electricity yet. Maybe they plugged in to many power tools. Oh well.

Basement

For some time now, we have been planning on furnishing our crawl space into a basement. Yesterday, these guys dropped off some lumber on our driveway. Today we woke up to this loud racket coming from below. During breakfast, it seemed as though the floor would give at any moment. Luckily it didn't. This crane came and the guys used it to lift some (apparently heavy) metal boards onto our lawn. This morning a guy rang our doorbell but because our mom told us not to let them know we were home alone. Just now, he rang again so we decided he must have a good reason. The internet and the phone wasn't working so, we couldn't ask our mom if it was okay. We answered the door and the guy told us that the power tripped and he needed to see our breaker box. I showed it to him and now the internet is back.
The entire house is shaking now. I'm starting to believe the kitchen will fall off (LOL)! They said it would be done by early June but with all this noise, I think it will be much sooner.

Spring Break Day 4

We're back from the beach and my mom is leaving for work. She is a teller at a bank. We (my bro and I) are going to be alone for 5 hours.

Spring Break Day 3

Today we went to the Aquarium and I got at least 20 mosquito bites. We made cookies that were super, extra, good. Today we head back home. We got word from a contractor that construction on our basement will begin ASAP. If it's done soon enough, I'll throw an end of school/birthday party.

Spring Break Day 1

The hot water still isn't working, the garage door only opens halfway, the sea water is too cold, my friend, my bro, and I are the only ones in our house, and we're gonna have a big barbeque. All in all, a great first day.

Vacation at the Beach

We just got to the beach. We have a duplex at Emerald Isle, NC. In our half, there are 3 guests, my bro, my mom, and me. On the other half, 4-6 people but only one kid our age. So far the hot water isn't working. The garage door jammed and opens only halfway. At least the internet works (which is really rare).

Early Recess

Today during band class, our instructor decided to give us a day off. He let us play outside during 6th grade recess. One of my friends Nathan, brought his shocking pen from Massachusats. We're all having a good time tricking people and getting them shocked, right? Well then this 6th grader (name withheld), tells Mr. LZ (Ellzey), our principle. He gets really pissed because just last week he gave us a lecture on horseplay. He confiscated the pen and made that 6th grader 7th grade enemy #1. Everyone is angry, especially Nathan, but no one got ISS. That was a really nice pen too. Oh well, now it's SPRING BREAK!!! I have 2 projects to finish before school starts. But it's all good.

Just Started

I just started blogging so all of your comments will be useful. I owe many thanks to Timekeeper for telling me to create a blog. Enough of this. Let's get it on!
